Over the last 24 hours, 22 patients died in Kosovo, the highest daily fatalities since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, bringing a total number of deaths to 1,062, the Public Health Institute said on Thursday.

Since Wednesday, 1,510 people were tested, and 627 samples came back positive for the new virus.

There were 13,784 active cases on Thursday, while a total number of infected in Kosovo reached 41,299 people.
