A 2.6 metre tall Easter egg showcased in Travnik, Bosnia

Two and a half meter tall Easter egg was placed at the Tracnik central square, Saturday, on the occasion of Easter which will be celebrated on Sunday.

According to the local media, the egg is 264 centimetres high and 204 centimetres wide and judging by the local media, it is the biggest in the country and one of the biggest in the region.
The idea was that it should be even larger, but the technical possibilities of the area in which it was made did not allow it.

It took several months of painstaking work to make and paint, especially because of the shape, which is extremely demanding.

Easter, the biggest Christian holiday, according to the Gregorian calendar is celebrated this year on Sunday, April 17.
