FBiH Employers' Association sends demands to parties

The Association of Employers of Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region has on Tuesday sent a letter containing their demands which would improve the business environment in Bosnia to the main political parties in Bosnia ahead of the upcoming election.

The letter contains a strategic document named ‘What employers want from the Government’, which came about a public discussion in which more than 20,000 employers participated, the Association said.

The document includes demands regarding changes to the law on value-added taxes, proposals for six acts that will enable employers and unions to get involved in the process of adopting laws and bylaws that concern their interests, the adoption of a number of laws that the association put together and a number of other demands it said should serve to disburden the economy on all government levels and improve the business environment.

The employers want the parties to support their demands and respond to their proposals before the election campaign is over.

‘In this way, Bosnia’s citizens will figure out what stance your political party has toward economic problems and the raising of the living standard of citizens,’ the letter from the FBiH Employers’ Association addressed to the political parties said.

The general election in Bosnia will take place in October.
