Bosnian state ministers endorsed on Monday a grant agreement proposal between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) which stems from the European Western Balkans Joint Fund and is aimed for construction of the Corridor 5c, a pan-European road link passing through Bosnia.

The Council of Ministers passed the decision in an urgent telephone session.

A 12,900,000 Euro grant will be allocated to the public enterprise in Bosnia’s Republika Srpska semi-autonomous region and for the construction of two interchanges in Johovac and Rudanka sites as well as a highway section connecting these two interchanges and access roads.

EBRD and Republika Srpska’s ‘Autoputevi’ public enterprise concluded a 70 million Euro loan agreement in December 2017, based on which the bank concluded an agreement with the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the guarantor.
