The cooperation between Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity of Republika Srpska (RS) and Serbia is at a very high level and Serbia is the RS' most significant economic partner, said the RS President Zeljka Cvijanovic who met with Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic in Banja Luka, the RS' Administrative centre, on Monday.

The meeting was attended by the RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic and interlocutors spoke about the current economic situation in this entity and in Bosnia, as well as the dynamics of implementation of joint projects.

The support of Serbia as the RS’ most important economic partner, but also the support for the preservation and strengthening of this entity, is visible in numerous municipalities, she said, through the implementation of a large number of utility and infrastructure projects financed by the funds of Serbia.

Cvijanovic thanked the Serbian leadership for the concrete forms of cooperation and support, pointing out the RS and Serbia are linked through firm political and economic cooperation accompanied by a high level of understanding.

The two expressed their satisfaction with the fact that virtually all areas of social life were improved in mutual relations, in accordance with the Agreement on Special Parallel Ties between the entity and Serbia, and stressed the necessity of further strengthening the ties at the institutional, economic, cultural and educational level.
