The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) has all the relevant UN, NATO and the EU certificates and I believe its curriculum is acceptable for the training of professionals from all Bosnian state institutions concerning the development of its security sector, Bosnia's Defence Minister Marina Pendes said during the meeting with the head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission's Ambassador to Bosnia, Bruce Berton, on Monday.

Minister Pendes thanked Berton for the OSCE's support to Bosnia in various projects securing military warehouses and destroying surplus arms, munitions and explosive devices.

The meeting, which was also attended by her Assistant for international cooperation, Zoran Sajnovic, dealt with joint activities between the Ministry and the OSCE within the Cooperation Plan, based on the agreement between the Council of Ministers which is Bosnia's de-facto government, and the OSCE, in the field defence and security.

The Minister said the Ministry and Bosnia's Armed Forces had over 25,000 tons of surplus arms and munitions which were brought down to 7,000 tons, thanks to the successful cooperation with the OSCE over the past years.
