Prosecutors are investigating death threats against Bosnian Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik written in the comment section on the website of BN TV, state police said on Monday.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) said that it received information about the threats from the Interior Ministry in Bosnia’s Serb-dominated semi-autonomous entity of Republika Srpska (RS).

“SIPA has informed Bosnia’s Prosecutor’s Oddie of the measures and activities it undertook regarding this issue on August 1,” SIPA told the Srna news agency, adding that no further details should be revealed to ensure the protection of the investigation and further planned activities.

The comments date from July 23.
