Praising the work and activities of Remembering Srebrenica UK and other associations in Great Britain, Bosnia's Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic said, during the Tuesday dinner, that their work is crucial for future generations not only in Bosnia but also in the rest of Europe, serving as a reminder of a difficult period from the past.

The dinner was an opportunity to inform the Presidency Chairman of the activities that this and other Bosnian associations in the UK are pursuing and to discuss future joint activities and issues of great interest to the Bosnian Diaspora, the Chairman's office said.

Chairman Komsic used the opportunity to thank the British nationals who are members of the Remembering Srebrenica association, contributing to healing the traumas of the surviving Srebrenica and other Bosnian residents.

Apart from the dinner organiser led by the association chairman Waqar Azmi, the dinner was attended by Bosnia's Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic, UK Ambassador to Bosnia Matthew Field, Bosnian Ambassador to the UK Vanja Filipovic, numerous representatives of Bosnian associations in the UK, representatives of the British Foreign Office and other guests.
