The International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) has issued a Red Notice for Esed Abdagic, accused of murdering a prisoner of war in 1993 in the northwestern Bosnian town of Bihac, the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) reported on Tuesday.

The indictment against Abdagic, a former member of the Army of bosnia and Herzegovina, was confirmed at the Bihac Canton Court beginning of July this year.

Prosecutors accuse him of killing a prisoner of war, a member of the Army of Republika Srpska, while serving as a guard in the Bihac prison in December of 1993 by beating him to death.

The Prosecutor’s Office in USK said that Abdagic currently lives in the state of Iowa, USA.
