The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Bosnia will continue providing support to Bosnia's Security Ministry and the law enforcement agencies when necessary, Head of the Mission Kathleen Kavalec said Thursday in a meeting with Security Minister Dragan Mektic.

The minister stressed that the “crucial issue” Bosnia is facing is the lack of the rule of law, adding that significant changes are needed to return the trust of citizens.

The meeting which was also attended by UNHCR Regional Representative Francesca Bonelli discussed the migrant crisis and the need to solve the accommodation as well as the humanitarian and healthcare aspect of this situation.

Mektic informed Bonelli about ongoing activities aimed to solve this complex situation, noting that the search for an adequate location to set up new migrant centres poses the biggest challenge at this moment.
