The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina reached a decision on Thursday that all foreigners entering the country must have KM 150 per day for their planned stay in the country.

The measure, which is officially adopted every year, has been in force for a while, and the prescribed amount has not been changed in years.

The Council of Ministers also discussed the Ministry of Security's report on the state of illegal migrations at a meeting held in Sarajevo.

The report pertains to the period from January to October 2019, and it states that the number of illegal migrants who entered the country during the period is slightly higher than 22,000 and that only 455 of them applied for asylum.

The largest number of illegal migrants who entered the country in the period, almost 40 percent, are Pakistani nationals, and slightly more than 10 percent are Afghan nationals.

The number of illegal migrants from Iraq, a country which has been unstable for years, is slightly higher than 8 percent, and Syrians constitute 6 percent of irregular migrants who passed through this country while trying to reach developed European countries.
