Dzelko, born in 1990 and also known under the names ‘Abdullah’ and ‘Ike’, allegedly left Bosnia for Turkey at the beginning of 2013 and continued toward Syria.

Prosecutors alleged that once he arrived, he joined IS fighters and participated in their terrorist activities including armed attacks against civilians and their illegal imprisonment - activities which left him wounded several times.

He surrendered to the forces of the Antiterrorist Coalition after the defeat ISIS suffered in Baghouz in 2019 and was then deported to Bosnia.
