Prosecutors submit terrorism charges against alleged Bosnian ISIS fighter

State prosecutors have charged Senad Kasupovic, a Bosnian national, with participating in terrorist activities as a member of ISIS in Syria for six years.

The indictment, which was forwarded to the State Court on Friday, alleges that Kasupovic, born in 1980, left Bosnia for Turkey in July 2013 and eventually reached Syria, where he joined IS fighters and participated in their terrorist activities for 6 years under the name ‘Muatesim’.

Kasupovic is one of the seven suspected Bosnian ISIS fighters who were deported from Syria in December last year along with six women and 12 children.
