Bosnian company Jusri, from Gorazde, which normally makes plastic parts, has focused its capacities on the production of protective visors and transparent face masks due to the coronavirus pandemic, the company said Friday.

The company said the transparent face mask is a new product on the Bosnian market, adding that it is easier to wear than traditional masks due to its design.

“It's made of quality materials (ABS and polyethene) resistant to wear. The materials are non-toxic and are used in the toy industry as well as the automotive industry. The weight of one mask is 14gr. It is especially suitable for catering staff, staff in beauty salons, department stores, fast-food restaurants, post offices and all persons who are in constant contact with people because of their work,” the Gorazde-based company said.

Due to its transparency, it is suitable for people who are in contact with people with hearing impairment (lip reading).

The protective transparent mask is intended for multiple uses, with adequate cleaning and disinfection in an alcoholic solution, they say.
