Bosnia-born NBA player Jusuf Nurkic donated 125 tonnes of food for those in need in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The donation will be distributed through the Pomozi.ba association, which aims to supply those in need with 500 tons of food this month.

“Jusuf has helped various humanitarian actions in recent years and every time he insisted on anonymity,” the Pomozi.ba staff said.

“This time we managed to get his approval to make his donation public, primarily with the goal to inspire others to start helping people those in need whose number is growing daily, especially now due to the overall situation with the coronavirus. We truly thank Jusuf from the bottom of our hearts on behalf of all those to whom this food will mean so much,” they said.
