Bosnia's intelligence agency investigating threats targeting Chief Prosecutor

Bosnia’s intelligence agency, OSA, said on Monday it is looking into online threats made against Bosnia’s Chief Prosecutor, Gordana Tadic.

The news about the threats came from Bosnia’s Security Minister, Fahrudin Radoncic, who told media on Monday that he asked the head of Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina to secure additional protection for prosecutor Gordana Tadic and her family.

“We can not live in a country where someone can threaten the Chief Prosecutor and her family without being sanctioned,” he said, arguing that Bosnia has become a country where professionals in the judiciary and police are not allowed to do their job.

“We are determining the facts and whether the threats were sent from fake profiles and who is behind them,” OSA said.
