The Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Zagreb will mark the 25th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica with a light projection of the flower of "Remembrance.”

The light projection will be held on Friday, July 10, at the Zagreb Fountains in Hrvatske bratske zajednice Street, starting at 9 p.m.

“The flower of Remembrance, which grew out of pain, is a symbol of the fight against genocide and mass suffering of people. The white colour of the petals represents the suffering of innocent people, the green colour in the centre of the flower represents hope, and 11 petals symbolize the day of tragedy, July 11, 1995,” President of the Council of the Bosniak National Minority of the City of Zagreb Armin Hodzic said.
