The entirety of the 26th Sarajevo Film Festival will be held online, following the worsening situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic in the Canton, the organizers said Wednesday.

The decision was reached following the instructions, information and recommendations from the Civil Protection HQ of Sarajevo Canton, cantonal government and the Federation entity's Crisis Staff from August 4, 2020, they said.

Viewers from across the country and the region will be able to enjoy the films August 14 – 21, by visiting the address ondemand.sff.ba where they will not only be able to see the films but also enjoy other programmes within the festival, such as lectures and talks with producers, directors and authors.
