Bosnia opens its borders to foreign visitors with negative PCR tests

N1

The Bosnian government decided on Thursday to open the state border to all foreign visitors with a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours.

The decision was made following the consultations with governments from both entities(the Serb dominated Republika Srpska and Bosniak-Croat shared Federation entity) whose emergency situation staffs said the time was right to open the country to foreign nationals.

Bosnia's Presidency recently issued a decision approving the entry for citizens of China, Russia, the United States and Turkey. However, the final decision had to be made by the Council of Ministers as the government is officially called, at the suggestion of the State Ministry of Security.

The border is open to all foreign tourists.
