Bosnia's prosecution issues indictments for football match-fixing

Bosnia’s Prosecutor’s Office issued an indictment in the case codenamed ‘Var’ charging the suspects with football match-fixing, the institution said on Thursday.

The Prosecutor’s Office indicted the suspects for organised crime and bribery, ordering that all illegally gained assets be seized from the suspects and that they are banned from performing all duties in the relevant football and competition bodies for a period of five years.

Suspects Vladimir Dominkovic, Ilija Zivkovic and Kenan Bajraktarevic were all indicted as competent figures in the Football Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
