The latest conflict in the Gaza strip is a continuous the conflict that occurs every few years, non-resident Ambassador of Israel to BiH Noah Gal Gendler said for N1 on Tuesday, adding that Israel supports peace, but without Hamas. He noted that he understands the divisions in BiH regarding the Middle East but that they are ready to cooperate with everyone.
The Ambassador also revealed whether the Israeli political situation played a key for the beginning of the recent conflicts and how much the political fate of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has anything to do with what is happening in the Middle East.
When it comes to BiH, Gendler said Israel has better cooperation with Banja Luka, the administrative centre of the country’s Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity than with the nation’s capital – Sarajevo, but that there is room for cooperation. He noted that the BiH authorities never contacted his country for help in the fight against the coronavirus or help in purchasing the vaccines.
