Activists of an anti-war group painted over a symbol of the Russian military forces that invaded Ukraine in central Belgrade.

The activists of the informal group named Russia, Ukrainians, Belarusians and Serbs Against the War painted over the large letter Z which is used extensively by Russian forces in Ukraine on their vehicles and combat equipment.

The activists said they don’t want symbols of Russian aggression. The Z was painted over in the blue and yellow of the flag of Ukraine. The symbol was painted on a pillar in a passage between Nikola Pasic Square and Terazije.
