Banja Luka celebrates City Day and 77th anniversary of victory over Fascism

On this day, 77 years ago, Banja Luka was liberated from fascism in the Second World War. Since then, April 22 has been celebrated as City Day. This year, due to the Easter holidays, the program of the solemn celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 26.

On that day, the central event – the ceremonial academy will be held in the Banski dvor, when the April awards will be presented to deserving individuals and groups, and the City Administration will organize a big open-air concert “Rock Symphony” for fellow residents and guests.

Delegations from 16 cities in the country and the region, as well as a delegation from Modina, Israel, will attend the celebration of City Day.

As part of the celebration, the International Conference “DANUBE BUSINESS FORUM – Cities – Bridges of Integrated Local Development Processes” will be held on Wednesday, April 27 in Banski Dvor, the City Administration announced.
