Bosnia national basketball team defeated Bulgaria 85-75 within the Mundobasket qualifiers on Monday, advancing to the playoffs of the FIBA World Cup 2023.
The Bosnians took the lead in the first quarter and has kept it for almost the entire match.
Bosnian national team captain Miralem Halilovic led the team to the victory with 21 scored points, followed by Musa and his 17 points. The most effective among the Bulgarians was Kostov with 13 points.
Bosnia and Lithuania now share the same score in the F group with two wins since the beginning of the qualifiers. The two teams will meet for two games in the final stage of the qualifiers in February, which will decide the group winner and three best teams who will compete in the playoffs.
