The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated the Czech team in the first round of qualifications for the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines, on Friday night in Sarajevo.
The Dragons, as they are affectionately called, returned in great style after losing at halftime and eventually winning 97-90.
The most efficient in the BiH team was Dzanan Musa with 21 points.
The best in the defeated team was the unstoppable David Jelinek with 31 points. Kyzlink, Peterka and Pursl scored 14 each.
In the second match of the group, Lithuania defeated Bulgaria with 89:69.
In three days, the BiH team will play against Bulgaria in Botevgrad. This match will start at 6 pm.
