Bosnia and Herzegovina has recoded 20 new coronavirus cases and one death over the past 24 hours, the healthcare authorities said on Thursday.

The new results came from 1,439 lab tests performed on the samples of those who reported infection symptoms.

The Federation entity (FBiH) reported the total of 134,053 coronavirus cases out of 724,673 lab tests, in the last 24 hours 19 out of 1,186 tests. The region's death toll stands at 5,530, with one fatality reported over the past 24 hours.

As for Republika Srpska entity (RS), its healthcare authorities confirmed one COVID-19 case from 181 lab tests performed over the past 24 hours, while the region's total stands at 64,360 cases out of 286,014 people tested. The total of 3,786 COVID patients died from the disease or related complications.

Brcko District reported no new coronavirus cases or COVID deaths over the past 24 hours. In total, this administrative unit confirmed 6,700 cases out of 22,484 lab tests, while 338 patients died since the epidemic outbreak.
