Bosnia logs 30 new coronavirus cases, six COVID-19 deaths

Bosnia and Herzegovina has recorded 30 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19 fatalities, while 158 patients recovered from the disease, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Friday.

The new results came from 1,698 lab tests performed on the samples of those who reported the infection symptoms.

The Federation entity (FBiH) confirmed 18 new cases out of 1,260 those tested, which brings the coronavirus total in this part of the country to 133,665. To this date, 124,074 patients recovered from COVID-19 in this region and 5,400 died.

As for Republika Srpska entity (RS), its healthcare authorities confirmed 9 new cases in 339 lab tests performed over the last 24 hours. The region has so far reported the total of 64,255 cases, of which 3,746 died and 46,822 recovered from COVID-19.

Brcko district reported the total of 6,677 cases, three over the past 24 hours. To date, 6,226 patients have recovered and 333 died.

The total of 17,996 coronavirus cases are currently active throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to official reports.
