Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed another 340 coronavirus cases and 28 fatalities among COVID patients, the healthcare authorities said on Friday.

The new results came from 2,566 lab tests performed on the samples of those who reported infection symptoms.

Bosnia's Federation entity has so far confirmed 131,718 coronavirus cases out of 640,426 those who tested for the virus presence. The total of 116,874 COVID patients has recovered. The region's death toll stands at 5,019.

As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed the total of 62,540 patients out of 261,443 persons tested for the virus infection. The total of 43,202 patients have recovered and 3,469 died.

Brcko District reported the total of 6,435 cases since the epidemic outbreak and 302 fatalities. The total of 4,641 patients has recovered.
