Lana Pudar, the Bosnian 15-year old swimmer, has qualified for the Tokyo 2021 Olympics and set a new national record in the 100 m butterfly swimming discipline during the Serbian Open Championship on Friday.

Pudar made a fantastic appearance in the first round by beating the national record set by Amina Kajtaz, but a couple of hours later she set a new record finishing the 100 m race in 57.37 seconds and becoming the first Bosnian female swimmer to pass the A qualifying mark for the Olympic Games.

The young athlete achieved one of the best performances this season. The timing she had during the competition equals to the silver medal performance during the last European Championship.
