Bosnian athlete Amel Tuka advanced to the semifinals of the 800-meter race at the Tokyo Olympics.

Tuka achieved a time of 1:45.48 in the qualifications and took second place in the second qualifying race, securing his spot in the semifinals.

The semi-finals will take place on August 1.
