The coach of Bosnia’s national basketball national team, Vedran Bosnic, has resigned from the post.

Bosnic announced this decision from Mons, Belgium, in a statement for Anadolu Agency.

“Dear friends, fans and everyone who loves our national team. After long deliberation, I had no choice but to terminate my contract as the head coach of the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Bosnic said.

“Unfortunately, I had to make this decision because of differences in opinions with the leaders of the BiH Basketball Federation, as well as because of important contractual issues,” he added.

Bosnic said he considered it a privilege to serve his country as the national team coach.

“It has been an incredible privilege to serve our country for the last four years and I am extremely proud of the work and the fantastic results we have achieved together. I wish everyone all the best in the future “, said Bosnic.

Bosnic was the coach of BiH’s team since 2018.
