The company MGM Kakanj, which is one of the two selected companies for the import of Sputnik V vaccines into Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity, requested an additional deadline of 48 hours for the signing of the contract, Company director Mensu Musija told N1 Monday.

“Due to immense pressure from the public, and especially the media, we asked for an additional 48 hours to sign the contract. We don't want to make a mistake that could jeopardize anyone's work and put anyone in an awkward situation. Please understand. It would be too much for us to produce another affair,” said Musija for N1.

Sources from the FBiH Government confirmed earlier that the FBiH Public Health Institute director Davor Pehar would sign the procurement contract Monday, despite being given a deadline by the Government to sign it by 10 am Monday.
