In the past 24 hours Croatia has registered 520 new cases of the novel coronavirus and 29 people have died, the National Civil Protection Authority told a regular press conference on Tuesday.

There are currently 1,713 patients in hospital treatment and 149 of them are on ventilators.

The number of active cases in Croatia today is 3,084 and 15,989 are in self-isolation.

Since 25 February 2020 when the first case was registered in Croatia, there have been 225,648 registered cases of the novel coronavirus and 4,684 people have died as a result.

A total of 217,880 people have recovered from the virus, 683 of them in the past 24 hours.

To date, a total of 1,127,153 people have been tested, of whom 6,259 in the past 24 hours.
