Coronavirus UPDATE: 51 deaths, 2,648 newly infected in Serbia

Over the last 24 hours, 51 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 14,051 tested, 2,648 people were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Saturday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 11,166 lives with a mortality rate of 0,90 percent.

On Saturday, 6,106 patients were hospitalised, 228 of whom on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 6,668,289 people have been tested, and 1,230,976 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
