The "Fight for Life" protests in Sarajevo ended with the song "Better Life" („Bolji život“) on Tuesday and chants "resignation" in front of the FBiH Government building. Hundreds of citizens are outraged by the government's actions, due to the lack of vaccines and the overall attitude of those who represent them.

One of the participants in the protest, Nedzad Hadzibajric, said that citizens deserve to have vaccines and that as citizens they have the right to remove a government that does not do what it was paid for from the budget filled by the same citizens for over a year.

“They're buying cars, furniture, and we're getting vaccines through donations. That is the greatest shame. The people from this building laugh at us from the windows, as we stand here, instead of coming down and joining us because it concerns them too, not just me. Fadil Novalic (the Federation entity's Prime Minister) should come out and say how far the procurement of vaccines has come. He said ‘had we pretended to be a state, we might have had the vaccines,’ let them pretend to be a state then. This is my country, my people, and we will defend them, and we will replace those in office,” said Hadzibajric.

He pointed out that during Monday he protested in front of the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre alone, following the letters of anesthesiologists regarding the ventilators and the situation in the Covid wards of this health institution were published in public.

The protests ended with requests to the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of FBiH to resign, and with protesters singing “I want a better life!” from a well known Yugoslav TV series “Better Life” (“Bolji Zivot”).
