Serbs have two states, Serbia and Republika Srpska, which is an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik said Tuesday at the ceremony marking the Statehood Day of Serbia, in Orasovac.
“The people in the RS mark this date as ours because Serbia is the country we look up to as our motherland. Serbia is our guarantee and it gives us refuge, consolation and incentive,” Dodik said.
“Serbs have two states, Republika Srpska and Serbia which is the guarantee of peace and safety. We love Serbia and are happy about its progress. Serbia is a guarantor for every Serb where ever they are. It is a guarantor for us in the RS to fulfil our pledge which is to jointly fulfil our values, to live together and to fight together. In the given circumstances, we must preserve our identity, preserve our right to the state, preserve our right to freedom,” he said.
The Serb Presidency member noted that “Serbs are not a people bought with donations from the Brussels administration.”
