Bosnian Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik said after a meeting with EUFOR’s Lieutenant General Brice Houdet that he supports the European peacekeeping force’s mandate in the country.

“Today, I met with Lieutenant General Bryce Hudet, Operational Commander of the EUFOR Althea Mission in BiH. We had an open and direct conversation. I additionally understood the role of the Althea Mission and its role in BiH and it has my support now and in the future,” Dodik wrote on his official Twitter profile.

“If there is a delay in decision-making in the Security Council, I believe that the Presidency of BiH should ask the EU to continue Althea's mission in BiH,” he added.
