Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite Presidency, said he had no intention to respond to the summon by Bosnia's prosecution regarding the complaint for the genocide denial that the Prosecutor's Office confirmed a few days ago was filed against him.

“I have no intention to respond to them or anyone else, but I do intend to go to Sarajevo. I am really interested in how they are going to behave,” said Dodik.

This comes almost a month after now-former international envoy in BiH Valentin Inzko imposed a genocide denial ban through amendments to the Criminal Code of BiH, which Dodik strongly opposed and the leadership in Bosnia's Serb-majority region Republika Srpska declared null and void.

A few days ago Dodik said he was summoned for the interrogation and a day later the Prosecutor's Office confirmed there were more than 20 complaints filed on the grounds of new law provisions, one of them being a complaint against Dodik.

Speaking to public broadcaster RTRS, he reiterated his earlier stand that any citizen of Republika Srpska will be protected if disturbed by this law.
