Serbian Defence Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik said on Wednesday that the two countries’ armed forces will conduct joint exercises “as soon as the right conditions are in place”.

“Depending on the pandemic, the Armed Forces of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Army of Serbia will conduct a joint exercise and I think it will be the first of its kind,” Dodik said after a meeting with Stefanovic in Banja Luka. He added the exercise will be organized at the Manjaca training grounds outside Banja Luka. Stefanovic said the plan was to organize the exercise this year, adding that it was supposed to have been held in 2020.

A press release quoted them as praising the cooperation between Serbia and the Bosnian entity called Republika Srpska (RS) in terms of training personnel at the Military Academy in Belgrade and pilots for the RS police helicopter service.
