The Bosnian Serb member of the tripartite BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, welcomed the signing of the Fundamental Contract between the Government of Montenegro and the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
Dodik stated on social networks that the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro was brought to an equal position with other churches and religious communities in this country.
“I believe that the politics of division in Montenegro have remained in the past and that Montenegro is on a path of prosperity and progress,” wrote Dodik.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday.
The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in Montenegro, however, announced that will launch an initiative for a vote of no confidence in the Montenegrin Government.
