A hidden gem of cultural and historical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the medieval fortress of Dubrovnik is nested on a steep and narrow spur of the Hum hill in central Bosnia.

It was first mentioned in the Dubrovnik archives on July 11, 1404 but the exact date of the town origin remain unknown.
