The latest data on casualties in the fire that caught the COVID hospital in the northwestern town of Tetovo in North Macedonia on Wednesday night showed ten deaths, but the fear was the numbers might rise.

Health Minister Venko Filipce confirmed that ten patients died, but there could be more fatalities.

He said the fire was extinguished, and the injured were transported to a hospital in Skopje.

The cause of the blast is still unknown.
