Germany proves too strong for Bosnia's basketball ‘Dragons’

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national basketball team was defeated in the second round of the group stage of the Eurobasket on Saturday, by the selection of Germany with 92:82.

the affectionately called Dragons got off to a great start, leading during the first two quarters, and went to a break with a five-point lead.

Everything looked perfect but then the BiH team lost its rhythm. They could not score a single point for five minutes, while the hosts used this time and settled the quarter in their favour 25:11.

Germany brought the routine match to an end and registered its second victory in this championship.

The most effective player in Bosnia’s team was Dzanan Musa who finished the match with 28 points, Jusuf Nurkic finished the match with 21, while Roberson scored 13 points.

In Germany, Dennis Schroder was the most effective with 18 points, Wagner scored 16, while Thiemann finished the game with 14 points.

Bosnia’s team will play its next match on Sunday at 5:30 pm, against Slovenia, while Germany will compete against Lithuania.
