Italian surveillance aeroplane ATR 72 has circled the Bosnian city of Banja Luka and the surrounding area multiple times on Tuesday, flight tracking web portal flightradar.com showed.

According to available information, the plane in question is registered as IAM4188 Italy – Air Force, which took off at 6:37 am from the airport near Catania. it was above Romanovac around noon, when it had already made several circles above Banja Luka and Laktasi.

After flying numerous circles around the area, it headed out of the country.

French airforce also announced it would hold military exercises in Bosnian skes in light of the deteriorating international security situation.
