Bosnia's NBA star Jusuf Nurkic underwent surgery after fracturing right wrist in the game of his Portland Blazers against Indian Pacers five days ago, and will miss at least six weeks, his team confirmed.

According to the NBA's official website, Nurkic will wear a splint for four weeks and be re-evaluated in six weeks.

The surgery was performed by Dr Steven Shin at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles.
