A migrant was killed in a brawl with an unidentified person who left the murder scene on Wednesday morning in the city of Zenica, central Bosnia and Herzegovina, the local police stated on Wednesday.
Police spokeswoman Aldina Alić said that the law enforcement authorities had been informed about the incident at about 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The victim sustained multiple stab wounds to his body. After arriving at the scene, the medical emergency team could only determine the death of the victim.
Media outlets have reported that the murderer fled the scene in a van.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is faced with a migrant crisis with an estimated 7,000-9,000 migrants being stranded in that country on their way to western and northern Europe.
