Mira Furlan, a famous Croatian and former Yugoslav actress, has died

She was one of the most prolific and most popular actresses in Croatia and Yugoslavia in the 1980s.

At the beginning of her career, she was one of the most notable actresses of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, only to become one of the most recognizable and most authentic Yugoslav film actresses.

At the beginning of the breakup of Yugoslavia, she and her husband moved to the US where she continued to play notable roles some of which are those in the “Lost” and “Babylon 5” series.
