The Mothers of Srebrenica Association came to the Kravice agricultural cooperative Wednesday where they were prevented from laying flowers at the site where over 1,300 Bosniaks were killed in one day.
Munira Subasic, the head of the Association of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Zepa Enclaves, said that her son was also killed on that site.
“Exactly 1,316 people were killed here, if you don't believe us we have a list that we got from the Prosecutor's Office in The Hague. My son was killed here where I found a single bone of his. Today we visited this grave on Budakovo and Jadra. They killed 1,316 lives in one day,” Subasic explained.
Now Kravice is being rebuilt, and for the Mothers of Srebrenica, this is an indication that “they want to erase the crime with an eraser.”
Subasic added that fascism is rampant in Bosnia.
“Ninety percent of eastern Bosnia is full of fascists – those who committed genocide, harassed and killed babies,” said Subasic.
After the 27th commemoration of the Srebrenica genocide which took place on Monday when the remains of 50 Bosniak victims were buried at the Potocari Memorial cemetery, survivors and families of genocide victims visited the sites of mass murder in the Srebrenica municipality to pay their respects. Kravice is one of the main sites where members of the Republika Srpska Army killed over 1,300 Bosniaks.
