An informal group of citizens has scheduled new protests in front of the peace envoy’s building in Sarajevo on October 24, starting at 5 pm. the protest slogan is "Either withdraw the decisions or dismiss Schmidt!".
In their explanation, the group says that they will ask High Representative Christian Schmidt who is in charge of overseeing the implementation of the civilian aspect of the Dayton Peace Agreement, to see the citizens and organizers in a meeting.
“Everyone must understand that this placement into a reservation of the most numerous people, which was the only one who died to save the country, is impossible. We will not allow any lobbies of any interests to play with Bosnia and make decisions that do not make sense and that are discriminatory against one people,” said Nihad Alickovic, one of the organizers.
They said that this gathering in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Sarajevo will be without political factors and attempts to turn the protest into an election rally.
