Memic said on Monday that he expects all activities to continue and to finally prove what he has been saying from the very beginning that his son was murdered.
Former Chief of Traffic Investigations of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior Hasan Dupovac and Zijad Mutap, father of Alisa Mutap who was with Dzenan Memic on the night of the murder, were arrested Monday morning, and While Bosnia's special police (SIPA) searched two facilities in Hadzici and Ilidza and seized items that could serve as evidence.
Dzenan Memic suffered injuries on the night of February 8, 2016, while in the company of Alisa Mutap, under still unexplained circumstances. He passed away on February 15, 2016, at the Sarajevo University Hospital. In two court proceedings, Ljubo and Bekrija Seferovic, who were charged with causing a fatal traffic accident, were acquitted. The decision of the Supreme Court of Bosnia's Federation entity on the appeal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office is still pending.
